Job Description:

The Junior Staffing Specialist will provide support to the Staffing Team with responsibility for; posting job ads, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews. The Junior Staffing Specialist will work closely with the compliance team in confirming new hires and ensure each candidate on-boarding process is completed smoothly and timely.


  • Actively assist in identifying candidates by screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews
  • Post jobs online using Indeed and other social media sites to build candidate pipeline
  • Use recruiting software and applicant tracking systems to update files, spreadsheet reports, and lists of new hires and active jobs
  • Prepare and send out mass emails (e.g. confirming receipt of applications) and handle paperwork
  • Communicate effectively with candidates and promote a positive experience throughout the hiring process
  • Provide assistance to the compliance team to ensure the on-boarding process is completed in a timely manner
  • Perform ad hoc duties


  • 1+ years of experience in recruitment strongly preferred (healthcare staffing agency experience a plus); Sales and customer service experience may be considered
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative work environment
  • Must be detail-oriented and tech-savvy
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems desired
